The Goldfields Track (Mt Buninyong/Ballarat to Bendigo) will be launched in 2009. The promotion of the Goldfields Track is a partnership initiative between Goldfields Tourism, Parks Victoria, People and Parks Foundation, Conservation Volunteers Australia and the Great Dividing Trail Association (GDTA).  To commemorate the launch of the Goldfields Track, the GDTA has arranged to walk the Track in manageable sections during 2009. The distance is approximately 200 kms, to be undertaken by 13 separate day walks. (The 22 May walk is an extra GDTA Walk, not part of the Goldfields Track Series: completed walks in italics).
