Accommodation on the Lerderderg Track can be found at:

  • Bacchus Marsh, despite its size, has no visitor information centre (VIC), though it is serviced by the Melton VIC. If you come down 'out of the hills' and need a bed, it has one 'Budget' Motel (Bacchus Marsh Avenue 53673766) and the 'Cherry Inn' Caravan Park on the western end of Bacchus Marsh Road.
  • Blackwood township is small (population 300). Some rooms are available at the Blackwood Hotel and there is a caravan park right on the track near the Blackwood Mineral Spring off Golden Point Road. Blackwood also has a couple of B&Bs that could provide a good base for walking if you insist on all mod cons.
